Prevention is better than cure! 300 grassroots volunteers were trained on health care and personal hygiene. Armed with the knowledge, they will be conducting house visits to educate residents and share haze and MERS advisories, and tips on healthcare and personal hygiene, so that residents are prepared in the event of emergencies. 300 essential packs of grocery items such as N95 masks, thermometers and hand santizers were also delivered to needy and vulnerable residents in Pasir Ris West to prepare them for haze and spread of infectious diseases.
